Are you saying your tractor goes 25 mph or are you saying because tach speed is wrong tach is saying you are going 25 mph. If the tractor is actually going 25 mph you better slow the rpm down or the fastest items you will have are speed of pistons, rings, and pieces of broken block, airborne. anything over 2000 rpm on that old diesel is disaster, even if it has just been rebuilt. She weren't engineered for that.
