I am trying to convert my 1940 Farmall M to 12 volt. I was looking in the archives and i could not seem to find a definitive answer on how to make this conversion when the tractor has a magneto instead of a distributor. Does anyone have a diagram for this conversion? Do you need a resistor to convert the 12 volts down to 6 for the ignition coil like you do with a distributor? and finally, if i get the generator rewired and otherwise leave everything the same, is the system still a positive ground? Thanks a lot for the help! Jeff
