Is it a C113or a C123 in my farmall A ?

I have a 1945 Farmall A sn 126544, which my info says it should have a C113 engine. However, stamped on the side of the block below the spark plugs is C123. The part number stamped on the head and the crankshaft are for the C113 engine. Do you think some one has changed the block and would that work with C113 parts or does the C123 stamp mean something else? Thanks
