Tom,
The A originally had a C113 engine. If you found a raised C123 on the block, it is a later block. Note that there is a rebuild kit available to increase the bore of the C123 by 1/8" to make the displacement almost 133 cubic inches. This would probably make about 22-25 HP on the drawbar. A really stout A!
