I believe the extra 10 cubic inches in the C123 were gained by increasing the bore. If it is a true C123 block it will have the mounting place for a hydraulic pump below the distributor/magneto. If not, someone probably rebuilt the motor using overbore sleeves and pistons, which is very common. By 1945 many chassis and block numbers did not match right from the factory, so that may not mean much.
