Sorry I took so long to get back to everyone that answered my post. Been busy. On this site under fuel system parts in the Ford 9,2, and 8n parts section. Part num. = FTW494 Black nylon fuel tank webbing. 3 ft piece. My old tank had the remnants of strapping between the tank and hood cross brace when I took it off. I bought this piece to put back on with my new tank. I figure it protects the tank from vibration and cushions it from hood flex. I didn't think the bolts would be so tight that the tank wouldn't be allowed some movement. Thanks again for responding.
