Just bought an old hay tedder from an estate sale; they said most of the stuff had been in the family over a hundred years. Tedder had originally been horse-drawn, but converted to tractor many years ago. Several of the original parts have the IH logo, so I'm assuming it's an International. Two parts have 1881 prominantly cast into the iron, which I'm assuming is a date. The tedder has steel wheels that drive an eccentric shaft that flips what looks like a bunch of 2-prong hay forks back and forth, tedding the hay. Anybody ever seen one of these before, or know anything about them--model number, years it was made or anything? I'm going to use it to make hay on my little place, but I'd like to know the history, too. thanks, Tom
