Been discussing and thinking over the problem with my 8000. Thinking about removing the dual power unit and running it without it (like allot of International tractors have been done that had a TA). I know they at one time made kits for this, but having a hard time finding a kit now. Does any one know where you can get the kit? Also is there any cons to doing this beside maybe having to shift gears a little more often, tractor will be used to cut /bale hay and some front end work. I know I will not really know what is wrong until I split the tractor, but just trying to have a plan once I do as tractor will be split at friends shop and really do not want to tie his shop any longer than necessary. Any suggestion or help greatly appreciated
