Thanks to all that have replied and gave me suggestions. I am now considering rebuilding the dual power after reading comments. I do appreciate all the comments and suggestions. I guess one of the main reason we were considering by-passing the dual power was a mechanic at the ford dealership told me of another one going out when he had gone out to the gentlemen's place to work on his baler, said the guy got off his tractor to open a gate, and tractor died before he got back on it and was the dual power that locked up. So I guess after hearing that is why we were leaning towards the by-pass. I talked to another dealrship, I got 2 that are about the same distance from my house and they thought they could do it with parts included for 1500, which I think is too low, but considering letting them do it. AWHTX I have called Alexierinda, they knew of the kit and said as soon as they got one in they would have it sold real fast, but way they talk they did not get the kits in anymore. Going to go talk to dealership in person and also to Alexidra, leaning toward letting the dealership do it as I be Decemeber before we could start working on it. Thanks to all the replied, I greatly appreciate it

Still another is the alternator. No doubt using the original generator keeps the tractor pure, but for thos
