He posted on a forum! He's called numerous times and left numerous messages. It would be in the other guys best interest to call him back. How many times should he have to leave a message or how long should he wait? 100 messages or 2 years, which ever takes longer? Maybe if he does advertise the tractor again it won't sell or will sell for less. Should he have to lose money because someone expects him to hold the tractor indefinately and won't even let him know what's going on? I wasn't ordering him around. I gave him a suggestion that I think others would agree with. Do you think a dealer would hold a tractor for months on end and keep phoning and leaving messages? There comes a time when you have to say enough is enough. If the guy wants any of his deposit back, he should call. If you take something in for repairs and leave it too long, the shop has a legal right to sell it. He could have lost a lot of prospective buyers waiting to hear back from the guy. Dave
