I'm restoring a 53 Super C. Pulled the diff. plug today and drained the oil. Normally, if there water in the oil (anywhere) the water will come out first and then whatever oil. Mixed up, that oil will be a whitest color. The oil that I removed today was a cream color with no water coming first. The C has been sitting in the same spot for the last month and the water should have seperated by this time. The question: Has anybody seen gear oil of this color before or has it just mixed well enough that the heavy oil will not release the water, but has changed the color? It looks clean and with the price of oils today, I would like to reuse it. Thanks, Wayne
