i've got a 606. the hole you were lookin at is the one i'm talkin about. it's drilled thru what i called a "soft plug". like a frost plug in an engine block. it might look like it's cast but at least on mine it was a plug set in a seat. and it had turned sideways, like a frost plug would when you take it out. as soon as i reseated it properly my hydraulics were fine again. and before that i had changed hyd filter and cleaned up relief valves. was about to pull the pump when i decided i'd better have another look at the flow divider.
