I have an unusual but not very serious problem with a hydraulic valve. I have a Cat 931B loader with a quick attach hoe on the back. Lately I have discovered that when it is cold the hydraulic valve for the stick will not move until the machine has warmed up for a while. The odd thing is that every other function will work right after the engine is started. It has a 2 lever system and the stick valve is with the swing valve which will work fine when cold. Has anyone else ever encountered this? It doesn't really make sense that the valve would freeze on only one function but that is how it is acting. Any insight would be appreciated as I don't think it did this last year. Thanks in advance. Dave

Although he himself has never actually owned or restored a tractor, he was always enthusiastic and always around helping with other peoples projects.
