Help! 1030 ps converted to flow divider. No good

Got a 1030 western and the ps pulleys were worn out. Couldnt keep a new belt on very long at all. But when it was on it steered fast and easy. Rather than put all 3 pulleys on we added a flow divider at the direction of a reputable case shop. They had done several and said it was the way to go. So i got it all done and it steers very very slow. Crank as hard as you want it just makes your arm sore and really not much faster. The valve was sent back to prince to verify it was good. 2gpm and 1100 psi relief. I verified this after reinstalling it. The flow is 2 gpm in and out of the steering box with or without cranking the wheel. It makes 1100 psi relief pressure with wheel held at either end. Makes 1100 dead ended too. It has 303 fluid. Has 1900 psi relief pressure at the couplers. Took the control valve apart to clean and inspect and replaced the orings on the ports inside the torque motor. Still a pos. Its not much better with the front end off the ground. On the ground it makes no difference if sitting or moving. it was better with the original pump as long as the belt would hold. So what if any help do you guys have? I have no restrictions and 1100 psi and 2gpm available. The guys tell me thats more than the tractor had when new. Seems to me it needs more flow but i saw myself in the online parts manual original pump had 1.5 gpm at 700 rpm at 700 psi with 950-1100 relief setting. I do hear the relief valve squal at times when im trying to reign this horse now. Ready to burn it down. Help ?
