Ok here's two cents from another guy with an engineering degree, while I agree with him that the length of your hose can affect your flow etc I do not believe that that is the root of your problem. I looked at the parts book and as you said the original pumps were rated at 1.5 gpm and 700psi at 700 rpm. That being said they put out significantly more volume as the RPMS of the engine increased. The valve that you installed is set to 1100 psi and 2gpm at all times meaning as the rpms increase you get no increase in flow. Did it turn easily with the old pump at 700 rpms? If not I think your going to increase the flow. As I said thats just my 2 cents.
