Dave...I saw your exact same post on NewAGTALK forumn and agree with the replies there. First make sure your range selector lever, linkages and brackets are all adjusted properly. Take the cover off the platform (steel plate) and you will see the valve body. When the oil gets dirty the spools will hangup..and the tractor wont shift properly...not to mention damage other more expensive parts. You need to slide the spools out and polish them up. Make sure you change the oil in the trans. every 1000 hrs. Change the hydraulic filters every 250. (might have that backwards...if someone has an operator's manual they can verify. It'll be tomorrow before I can get to mine.)
