Around Spokane, we had the snowiest November on record--about 28" and a couple of nights below Zero. Now it is about 40 degrees and the forecast is for it to stay warm for a week. We will probably lose all our snow cover. I hope it doesn't get way cold again after that.
I have a bucket in my yard that I use for a rain gauge. Yesterday it was empty and today there is over an inch of water in it. I suppose we got about an inch of snow last night too.
We expect snowy winters over here and they seldom bother us too much. 2008 was different--we had over 6 feet of accumulated snow. I even had to shovel off roofs that I worried might collapse, as some did around the area. Hope we never see that again!
