That is a ridiculous price! Did you try to talk to the manager or owner of the place? Some of these guys must figure they get brownie points for a higher sale. I think they turn customers away instead. I went to Princess Auto(similar to TSC) to get some hoses cause they were the only place open on Sunday. I told the guy I needed 2 long hoses and 2 short hoses and told him what the overall lenghts should be with fittings. I even had the old steel line to show him what I was doing. He said it would take about 20 minutes, that's fine. I looked around the rest of the store and went back to get the hoses. He had them nicely coiled up and I paid for them and went to put them on. I realized why he coiled them so nice. He forgot what I told him and made them all the length of the long hoses. I was an hour away from the store and really needed my machine. The hoses cost me about $60. Anymore I would have took them back. I wasn't too happy. Another time I went to a different hose place that I've used quite a bit. I blew a hose on the tractor loader. I took the old one off for a sample. The guy cut the hose to check the ID and measured the length, about 26". Then he went and cut a piece of hose and brought it over to put the fittings on. I looked at the hose and it was some kind of extra heavy duty Actic grade hose. I explained it's only for a utility loader and don't need the most expensive 4000 PSI hose. Then the guy gave me a whole bunch of attitude and walked back over to the hose shelf mumbling and carrying on. He came back with another hose and used it but I'm almost certain he still charged me for the more expensive hose. I've spent close to $1000 there over the years but not anymore. That's the only time I've ever had bad service but that's all it takes for me to go elsewhere. It's getting harder and harder to find places with good customer service anymore. I'd be complaining to the manager. $115 for hoses you described is more than a rip off. Dave
