NEBeef, The rest of the story is that the old washing machine is in the basement and I it is next to impossible to get it up the stairs. I'm in the process of putting a 26x26 addition on the house with a 8x14 bath. One end of the bath 3x8 is going to be a closet/laundry room with 3 ft doors. May fix the old machine someday for doing extremely dirty clothes, however I may get a new washer/dryer for the new laundry room and put into operation sooner than later. Thanks to all for your help.
