I've set up a catch pen and rigged my trailer so I can crowd 'em right up into it and close the gate slick as a smelt. I'll have to take a couple of pictures tomorrow.
I usually have to load up at oh-dark-thirty to get to the slaughterhouse on time (they want them delivered not later than 9am and it's a two hour drive). They changed the rules this year and will take them the day before between 3 and 5 pm.
They've got their receiving pen rigged so I can back up to it, drop the ramp, nudge the trailer right up tight against the building so the sheep can't go anywhere but into the holding pen. I have an internal gate on the trailer to keep them in when I drop the ramp.
