I don't know what kind of medical condition you have that you shouldn't wear a seat belt, nor is your medical condition any of my business, but...
I will guarantee you when your body goes from 70mph to 0mph in 6 feet you will still be in a better medical condition using the seat belt to decelerate your body mass, than a steering wheel compressing your sternum to the point it touches your spine and every one of your ribs snaps like a toothpick. Then those ribs start puncturing lungs and other internal organs. Or in an offset barrier crash and the rearview mirror stem punctures a hole through your forehead into your brain.
Any police officer on this forum can confirm what I just stated, accident scenes are not pretty.
