Speaking of too much power. Back in the '70's I had a couple of Yamaha YZ 250s that I used to tear it up with. They did OK. Back then their big YZ kept going back and forth from like 460 to 490 down to like 465 and then up to I think was a 500. Powerful YZs. Which ever, when ever, was 490 or 500 that I took out behind the Yamaha shop, figuring to buy it because the 250's had out littled themselves. I don't recall how long that field was behind the shop, but every gear I hammered brought the front end way up, and I wasn't trying. That was good grassy dirt, good rear tire, and a lot of power with lots of power to spare. I should have bought that thing and don't remember why I didn't. Maybe I knew I'd have been dead before they invented the internet and YT in place of YZ.
