I know a few ways to do it out here where I live. Gunfire does not attract a lot of attention and there is plenty of places to bury it. But a friend who lives in a metro area in another state has an old cat that is a mess, the do gooder vet won't put it down. Wants to do a bunch of procedures and sell her an expensive special diet to feed the thing. Any suggestions on how to put it out of its misery with out a lot of fuss and mess? A heavy dose of codine was a thought but the worry was a cat that would be flipping out and puking or whatever.
