Overheating Ferguson TO-30

I just completely rebuilt the engine in my TO-30. New short block from Central Tractor, head repaired and rebuilt by a Ferguson expert locally, rebuilt rocker assembly and oil pump. Got it all together, set the static timing and she fired right up. But then I noticed it getting hotter and hotter! I finally had to shut her down. I have installed a new water pump and thermostat, but it still gets hot. I also made sure the fan blades had plenty of pitch. The radiator was rebuilt locally a few years ago, and it has been sitting for about 2 1/2 years waiting for this rebuild. I will try to flush it out, but can anyone think of any other reason this tractor is getting too warm? Thanks! Larry
