the pump stopped working at the house in pa I called to have it checked out because I was at work here in nj, and my tenants were out of water. I went ther after work. The pump was shot, but the man said the bottom of the pump ruptured and the oil that was in the pump drained out of it into the well. We took the number off the pump called the copany and found out the oil is mineral oil right now the water is a little brown from being stirred up., he also dropped in some chlorine tablets , He said let everthing settle and tommorow run the water outside for a few hours. did you ever hear of a submersable pump rupturing?
