Illegal immigration is a difficult problem with no easy solution. Yes, they work where many citizens won't, but on the other hand many of them won't pay taxes (know that for a fact). If you go to Western Union on payday, there's a line down the block. Many of them send their money to Mexico instead of spending here.
I have a co-worker who has been hit twice by illegals and they jump out of the car and run, leaving you holding the bag.
The hospital closest to me closed because of unpaid medical bills mostly from the ER. If you visit an ER, who is it you see there?
If you go to the county hospital ER, you will have to wait 3 to 4 hrs before you can be treated, again who do you see there? Parkland sends a bill to Mexico every year for tens of thousands of dollars, do you think it gets paid?
If they would pay taxes like the rest of us, pay their bills like the rest of us, it would be different.
I have thought about this issue a great deal and I keep coming back to "the end does not justify the means".
