When i was a young feller, i learned how to roller skate at the local amusement park, and got fairly goo at it. I could skate the whole evening, and never fall down. When i was drafted for WW II, i kept in practice at the rink in Durham, NC. Then went over to France, got wounded by a land mine, which resulted in me losing my left foot, and lots of hospital time. When i came home, with my new foot, it took 3 days until i was down at the roller rink, strapping on my skates, and re-learning how to skate again. Only took lebenty-seven flops, but it all came back! I don't skate any more, at age 85, but i had fun while i could go, met lots of gurls!
