is this really an appropriate question for a tractor forum???????

hello, this really doesn't concern tractors but maybe you guys have run across this before. i am putting in a water heater and it says to "double-flare" the end of the pipe. what i need to know is , what a "double-flare" ??? i know what a single flare is but what is a double flare??? thanks for the help.
