life flash before my eyes

you fellows don't have to tell me how stupid i am, i proved it today. My father inlaw was over today. drove my IH H around for old time sake. when he was through he left it in gear (I never do). I did a little work on the carb, reached up and hit the starter button and it fired right away. i was afraid for myself, my four year old son and 2 year old daughter,(i knew they were around the tractor just seconds before) i turned the steering wheel, just missed hitting my truck and trailor. the tractor traveled about 40' before i stopped it. we're big kids with big toys, but if you let your guard down for just one second....
