A few years ago a local farmer lost his life to a big 4-wheel-drive tractor by starting it while standing on the left side in front of the wheel. He had probably done that many times, but this time he must have forgotten to kick it out of gear. Still scares me when I think of how easy it is to get hurt while playing with our toys. Thank God for his blessings. Just another of my thoughts on that subject. Maybe I'm crazy, but we usually thank God for watching over us when we narrowly escape injury or death from accidents, but maybe that's when he leaves us on our own.
