KJ Thank you such a prompt answer. I've been reading about old roads (circa late 1800s to early 1900s) and wondered about the presence of tractors on old rurals roads. I know special road laws were passed on the number of horses pulling a wagon vs. width of wheels on a wagon. Were there any laws on tractor wheels on old roads? Also, old public roads had gates. Why?
