If it was a 1993 or older, I'd tell you to add lube to the fuel (two stroke oil). But, I think 1994 is the first year of the big inline pump, and that thing is extremely durable. One injection pump for each cylinder, instead of one pump for six cylinders. Pump fuel as-is should be a non-issue.
Only thing you might want to check on is the 5.9 Cummins recall for the dowel pin falling out of the timing cover. I'm not sure what years the recall covered, but I know my 1992 was included.
