Just priced o-ring kits from New Holland to rebuild the remote hydraulic valves on our ford tractor. Four o-ring kits to rebuild each valve and our tractor has Dual remotes, so we need 2 kits of each. 8 O-ring kits ammount to $220.00 in o-rings.
Maybe 40 o-rings included.
My question is, how much better are factory o-rings than quality o-rings that you can buy from a bearing house like applied-industrial [GAG].(Bad experiances with A.I. in the past). The parts manual gives me the dimentions and hardness of each o-ring.
Think it would be worth my time? Or just buy the kits?
