I would guess that every reader has had such a day. I recall having more than one, and not just in my uninformed youth but even these days now that I"m older and a genius. I recall spending an entire day trying to get a carb on a little farmall to stop leaking. The following day I came to the realization that the gasket between the carb halves was wrong and the bowl could not vent. I recall spending an entire day trying to get a distributor to run a Farmall A and finally figuring out that I had a distributor off a W-9, it turns the other way!! Oh, I feel for you.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for �200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
