I made the rocker shaft out of 2 inch pipe with 1 1/2 pipe welded inside of it. The lift mechanism is a screw type jack from a ford pickup. The jack sits on top of the PTO housing. The lower arms are supported by the drawbar bracket.
I've been using it with the log splitter for about 3 years.
My question is if you guys think this will be strong enough to use for things heavier than the log splitter. Can the PTO housing handle the weight of pulling something with it?? (like a rake, or light cultivator) If not where would you beef it up at?
