Same thing they said years ago.Raising minimum wage helps the poor people on minimum wage. Also if minimum wage isnt high enough and a robot gets to do the job,it was a lousy job or employer to start with and wasnt paying well enough anyway. Now just like in the past they say raising the minimum wage causes there to be less jobs because of automation, and the government is so bad for doing this. Then how is it better since the government was nearly gutted and none of the stuff it did is being done now?The government is supposed to support the people that vote for it.Corporations dont want the people to have a government supporting them so they can set wages so low people cant make a living on them?It doesnt make a difference when they argue this,in the 60s,70s,80s,90s,2000,2010,if there is no government supporting the people, next you have slavery.I dont think letting this bunch of people running corporations loose and setting the minimum wage is any different now than it ever was before. The reason the government set a minimum wage is because the people wanted it to because corporations were abusing them. This is trying to say the government is wrong for supporting the people and the great corporation should be able to have people working for them for nothing actually.Maybe line workers should be paid a percentage of the corporate profit instead.Calculate the profit of each line,Divide it by how many workers are on it,give the corporation only a small profit off of it,dont want them getting rich, they need to stay hungry to compete! Its the same thing only turned around.Get the people mad enough and thats what will happen next.Way too long this has been one sided tilted to the corporation.
