Safety is a big issue with using a tractor for the tasks you are describing. Pulling stumps and skidding logs are good ways to backflip a tractor.

You might re-post your question on the crawler board. However, maintenance costs on a dozer can get real expensive!

Your best bet might be to purchase a tractor for general use and hire a dozer to do the stump busting and log skidding.

Also, in your tractor budget, don't forget the cost of the implements that make the tractor usefull. At minimum a box blade and back blade. With these you can do a fair amount of earth moving. Add a loader (with down pressure hydraulics) and you can do some pretty good excavating.

Spend some time searching the archives on the various boards here and you will learn a lot.

Again, safety needs to be your prime concern.
