Then you can't get back to sleep for what seems like forever and you're tired the next day. I still have dreams about raising hogs and there hasn't been a hog on the farm for fifteen years. No, my dreams will never come true about the hogs, not at my age.
But this does remind me of something dumb I did when I lost my temper about thirty years ago. I was working on a car outside of the old shop when some pigs that were about twenty pounds in size got under the fence and came to visit me, pulling on my pant leg. I finally lost my temper and threw a long screwdriver at them. The screwdriver went right through one of the pigs and it ran away with the handle sticking out one side and the blade out the other. The pig ran back under the fance and back with the sows but I did find it, pulled out the screwdriver and the pig never did show any ill effects. Boy did I feel bad after that. Haven't thrown a screwdriver since then.Jim
