Day in and day out the U S Postal Service is still the most economical way to ship. I use to always check several ways before shipping, and the Postal Service was always cheaper, in some instances on larger items as much as $10.00 cheaper. Only once was UPS cheaper, and that was on a very large item. A lot of businesses use it because of the convenience for them, but is a higher cost for purchaser. The P.O. will now pick up items at your door too.
