It's Getting Cold

A little late but was wondering something. Why do so many people let the blocks freeze up and bust on these old tractors? A gallon of antifreeze isn't that expensive. A 50-50 mixture in the cooling system can save a lot of headaches-and money. I have 2 friends that can't figure that out even after having a block crack on a JD 60 and a head crack on a 50. Still insist on using only water and then draining when it gets cold (if they remember).
