My self, I would not dare to touch or look at the material. The Masons are a powerful organization who like to keep their secrets a secret. They are one of the few groups and organizations I make a point of not messing with, not annoying them and not being curious about.
I would call the Masons and ask them to send a couple of Members that know you from around the community. Odds are you would have never guessed they were Masons until they appear.
