Just did a walk of the feilds. About 50% of one feild is shriveled and turning brown, about 1/2 height of green stalks. I am wondering if these areas are beyond hope. Rest of my corn is tall,7'+ and still a nice dark, moist green. I have multiperil, but these areas wont even be worth running a combine through. This portion also isnt anywhere close enough for me to graze the cows. Kinda wondering what some of you guys think I will have for options. It is what is is. Glad I took the insurance. Kinda depressing how things can change in 2 weeks in this light soil.
