Like others said, it could still rain and bring it around. Also it seems corn is most stessed right before it tassles, so maybe if it can get tassled and get a little rain you might still be in the game. Corn around here is not near that tall, but after no rain in may we have had a wet june, flooded out all the lows but rest looks good. No two years alike. I wouldnt graze it or hay it without first getting some nitrate tests on it. A few years ago the early planted corn around here all burnt up and guys were baling it up and then only found out it was high in nitrates from heavy fertilized fields and low moisture. If it is cut for silage you eliminate this problem. Just something i have seen over the years.
