As Yogi Berra said it ain't over till it is over. In '86 I had a field that never got that deep green. It was yellow all summer. I was tempted to bush hog it and plant but milo. But when it was tassling it got a 5" rain. It was so short that I could walk thru the corn and look over it. It made around 125 bul. Fields that did not get rain made about 60 or less.
