In my restoration of an F-12, I dropped the manifold and broke the exhaust portion (dumb!). I can replace it, but thought I would try to weld it first. I know that welding cast iron is difficult, but I have little to lose and it is not in a critical spot. The welds on cast that I see, look like silver solder. Is that what works best? I have both oxy/acetylene and stick. I am a pretty fair welder on gas, but horrible with the stick.
