I bought an old Kenworth 10-wheeler that had been parked for 5 or 6 years. The 120 gallon fuel tank was about 3/4 full when I got it.
After visually inspecting a sample of the fuel (it looked OK and smelled fine) I installed new fuel filters then pull-started the truck. It fired right up and ran great. So I simply used up the old fuel - had no problems whatsoever.
