I'm planning on roto-tilling up the 100' by 150' area between my drain field mound and my pond and planting sweet corn. The area is nice and flat has good top soil and I can irrigate from the pond. However my wife is convinced that the corn will be bad from the drain field run-off and it will be a waste of time. The drain field is a sand mound, gravity fed not a pressure mound. I need help settling this argument. Who's sleeping on the couch tonight?!
