Best Tractor?

I plan on using a tractor to aid in clearing, bushhogging, etc. 20 ac. or so. I also want to farm an acre or so. I hope to spend $3000 or less. I live in South Carolina. The state agriculture market bulletin always has tractors within the price range but I don't know a hill of beans about the types. Currently there are ads for Ford 8n, Jubilee...Farmall Super A, M, Cub...some with belly mowers (vs bush hog advantage?), Massey Ferguson 1130, T020, and John Deere M and 1969 1010. Any remarks or suggestions? Any to avoid? Thanks, Steve
