I have a '57 Ford 650, and it is wonderful for maintaining my modest acreage. However, I would advise looking for a tractor with a live PTO. The 660 and 860 series had live pto, and this is really better for working with a bush hog or a mower.

With my rig, I need to keep rolling in order to keep cutting- it would be much easier to be able to keep the cutter going independent of what the tractor is doing, especially when working close around trees and such.

Other that that, I love my tractor. Starts *instantly* every time, plenty of power, and is a real "looker".

Grampa McCoy on "The Real McCoys" had an 800 series tractor, and his neighbor had a powermaster series (801). Good enough for me ;)
