I'd forget about an N series for that much land, unless you are just trimming around stuff. I brushhog 5 acres with my 2N, and it takes time. Also forget an Farmall Cub or A or an JD M or any of the little AC's. By the time you put a three point hitch on em, they are like area as expensive as an N, and usually won't lift as heavy of an implement.

The jubilee would be good, but a 800 series ford would be more reasonable for that much land. If diesel is your thing, then the advice about a Perkins equipped tractor would be good.

That advice about finding a 40-60 HP tractor is probably good as well. But then if you want to finish mow your lawn, then forget it. Too heavy. That's probably why N's are so popular. Of all the antique machines, they are probably the best all around machines for yuppie land owners like you and me.
